Bosch UNIVERSALIMPACT 730 Hammer Drill

Powered via a standard UK mains socket and designed for DIYers, the Bosch UNIVERSALIMPACT 730 is a corded hammer drill which is suitable for drilling into a wide variety of materials - including wood, metal, masonry, plastic, stone and tiles.

It has a keyless chuck which can be tightened or loosened by hand, without need for a separate chuck key. There are forward and reverse modes and an adjustable speed preselection dial which enables the drill to be used for low speed applications like mixing paint as well as high speed drilling. The hammer mode can be switched on for drilling into masonry like house bricks, or switched off for standard rotary applications. At just over 2kg in weight, this compact tool can be comfortably used for overhead work and comes in a plastic carry case, complete with an adjustable auxilary handle and a depth stop for drilling to predetermined depths.
