The twin 5.0Ah batteries feature state of charge indicators, allowing you to monitor remaining power at a glance and plan battery swaps effectively. With 95 Nm hard torque and three-speed transmission, the DCD996 tackles drilling up to 55mm in wood, 15mm in metal and 16mm in masonry. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
