DeWalt DCM561S 18v XR Cordless Brushless Split Shaft Grass Trimmer 330mm
This variant of the DeWalt DCM561S is supplied as body only — no battery or charger included, making it the ideal choice for professional landscapers and contractors already equipped with DeWalt's 18V XR battery platform.
The trimmer's 18V XR brushless motor delivers consistent cut speed under load, with more torque and greater efficiency than brushed alternatives — minimising downtime and maintenance on busy job sites. The bump line feed system with 2.0mm twisted line keeps you working without interruption, and the variable speed trigger with two-speed control lets you adapt power output to suit light edging or tackling dense growth.
Ergonomically designed for extended professional use, the padded auxiliary handle reduces fatigue, while the professional-style guard improves visibility in tight spots. The split shaft design keeps the trimmer compact for van storage and easy to carry between locations.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
