The DeWalt DCMPS567 is a cordless pole chainsaw that combines the mobility of a petrol machine with the convenience of battery power. This professional-grade tool is powered by DeWalt's XR 18V (or 54V FlexVolt) lithium-ion battery system, delivering quiet operation, reduced maintenance requirements, and exceptional ease of use for landscaping professionals and demanding homeowners alike.
The DCMPS567 features a 200mm low kickback chainsaw bar mounted on a telescopic aluminium shaft, enabling safe and efficient pruning of higher tree branches whilst remaining firmly on the ground. The brushless motor technology ensures extended runtime and durability, whilst the automatic oiling system maintains optimal chain lubrication throughout operation. The carefully balanced design incorporates a support handle for enhanced control and stability, whilst metal bucking strips and an integrated tree hook facilitate secure cutting grip and easy branch removal. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
