DeWalt Ergo Aviation Snips
The DeWalt 250mm Straight Cut Ergo Aviation Snips are designed for making straight cuts and gentle curves, making them the most versatile option for general-purpose cutting applications. These straight cut snips are ideal for cutting long, straight lines in sheet metal, trim work, and general fabrication tasks where precise linear cuts are required.
Forged from chrome vanadium steel, these 250mm snips deliver exceptional durability whilst the serrated cutting edge prevents materials from slipping during use. The flush hardware allows for smooth cuts, and an external latch design makes them easy to operate. The slip-resistant, bi-material cushion grip ensures a firm, comfortable grip throughout extended cutting sessions.
With a reduced handle span design, these snips require 15% less muscle effort than existing snips when cutting tough materials, significantly reducing hand fatigue. Traditionally used for cutting aluminium, vinyl siding, screening, cardboard, leather, copper and 18 to 22-gauge sheet metal.
