DeWalt Extreme Spade Tri Flute Flat Bit
The DeWalt Extreme Tri-Flute Flat Bit in 28mm diameter is an impact-rated spade bit built for drilling large, accurate holes in wood. The 28mm size is well suited to demanding applications including larger pipe fittings, door furniture, and structural timber installations where a wide, clean bore is essential.
The quick-change 1/4" hex shank provides fast tool changes and broad machine compatibility, working with impact drivers and jawed-chuck drills — corded or cordless — to depths of up to 100mm. The tri-flute tapered body rapidly expels wood chips during drilling to prevent clogging and reduce binding. Three precision cutting spurs help produce cleaner holes and extend the working life of the bit, while the self-feeding screw tip keeps effort to a minimum.
