The DEWALT Heavy-Duty EV Charger Single Phase with Cable is a hardwired home and workplace charging solution designed for reliable, everyday electric vehicle charging in the UK.
Built with tradespeople and demanding environments in mind, the unit features a rugged protective cage around the wall box to guard against accidental knocks and impacts. An IP65-rated control box provides solid protection against dust and moisture ingress, making it well suited to garage, workshop, or commercial premises installations.
The integrated LCD screen displays real-time charging information and error messages, keeping the user informed at a glance. A built-in cable management system keeps the Type 2 output cable tidy and protected when not in use.
Connectivity is handled via built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, linking to the free DEWALT app. Through the app, installers and users can configure the charger, set charging schedules, monitor energy costs, and receive notifications — all from a smartphone. An RFID card is included for authorising charging sessions, with a mounting bracket and all necessary hardware also supplied.
The adjustable current output between 16A and 32A offers flexibility to suit different installation requirements, and the unit operates across a wide working temperature range of -30°C to +50°C.
