It is of strong build and very simple to use when more control is needed and an electric drill could be too fast and not accurate enough.
Cheap and cheerful hand-drill. good for keeping in the drawer for the odd occasion when you might need a drill quickly. gear's don't seem to mesh very well (noisy) but they'll probably wear in. the flywheel was a bit loose, but a hit on the rivet/axle sorted that out. if i wanted a good one, i would have spent £30+ on a stanley - but i didn't. however, i like the hollow handle where i can store spare drill-bits.
