The Draper PG253W is a portable petrol generator delivering 2.2kVA maximum output, designed for powering tools and equipment on construction sites, outdoor events, and locations without mains electricity. Built around a robust 196cc four-stroke engine with 6.5HP output, this open frame generator provides reliable dual voltage supply alongside 12V DC charging capability.
The heavy-duty steel tubular frame incorporates oil and fuel resistant anti-vibration mounts to reduce operational vibration, whilst the integrated wheel kit ensures easy site-to-site mobility for contractors and hire businesses. The forced air-cooled OHV engine features low oil shutdown protection to prevent damage during extended use, and the generous 15-litre fuel tank delivers up to 9 hours continuous runtime at 75% load.
Dual voltage output makes this generator particularly versatile for trade applications, with dedicated 230V and 110V 16A sockets allowing simultaneous connection of site tools and equipment. The additional 12V DC output and included charging lead enable battery charging for vehicles and cordless tool batteries when working remotely. Easy recoil start operation and compatibility with both E5 and E10 fuel ensures straightforward setup and refuelling. Supplied complete with spark plug spanner and combination spanners for basic maintenance requirements.

Petrol Engines
It is important to read all instructions regarding petrol products. 4 Stroke engines require oil and some machines are supplied dry (No oil to start with). Running a 4 stroke petrol machine without oil will result in the engine seizing and is not covered under warranty.
2 Stroke engines will need to have a mix of oil in the petrol this is normally 1 part oil to 50 parts petrol but not always, again please read the instructions supplied with your machine. Petrol engines do require more maintenance than electric engines but if reguarly maintained they will normally give many years of use.
