Draper SWP280C Submersible Clean Water Pump

The Draper SWP280C is a 550W submersible clean water pump designed for fast, efficient water removal and transfer across a wide range of residential and light commercial applications. With a maximum output of 280 litres per minute and a 10-metre power cable, it's built for demanding tasks where speed and reliability matter.

Ideal for clearing flooded basements, emptying swimming pools, and draining hot tubs, the pump can be submerged to a depth of 7 metres and delivers water to a maximum head height of 9 metres. It's equally well suited to water transfer applications including garden irrigation systems, water features, and rainwater harvesting setups.

The automatic float switch manages operation without manual intervention, activating and deactivating the motor in response to changing water levels. An adjustable inlet enables the pump to draw down to just 1mm of residual water, ensuring thorough drainage. While designed for clean water use, it can handle small particles such as grit and gravel up to 5mm in diameter. The compact, lightweight design with telescopic carry handle makes it straightforward to move between sites.
