The Dremel 3D40 Idea Builder is a WiFi-enabled 3D printer designed for professionals and enthusiasts requiring reliable additive manufacturing capabilities. This advanced model features a 3.5-inch full colour IPS touchscreen interface and delivers a generous maximum build volume of 25.4cm x 15.2cm x 17.0cm, making it ideal for prototyping, bespoke component fabrication, and larger project work.
Built with professional reliability in mind, the 3D40 incorporates active filament monitoring through its innovative single extruder system, which heats up to 230°C for consistent PLA filament extrusion. The tempered glass build platform is fully removable for easy object removal, whilst the Quick Level guided 2-point levelling system ensures accurate platform calibration. Advanced motion control technology minimises operational noise, and the fully enclosed workspace provides a safer working environment.
The enhanced cooling system prevents warping to maintain crisp object definition with a layer thickness of 0.1mm (100 microns). WiFi connectivity allows remote printing and monitoring of projects, whilst the intuitive touchscreen provides optimal preview of 3D objects before printing. This printer is supplied ready to use with a complete accessory pack including white PLA filament, build tapes, cleaning and object removal tools, USB cable, USB flash drive, and power cable.
