Q : Is there an extraction system built in to it? Do you need to extract fumes outside? Also, what software does it use? I am used to 2D software like Photoshop, but have never used 3D software. How difficult is the transition?
A : Hi Allison, this machine is suitable for use with the following software: Dremel Digilab 3D Slicer, Dremel Print Cloud, Simplify 3D & Polar3D. It is a popular model for educational facilities so you should be able to get on top of it without too much trouble but you'll be able to find plenty of videos on youtube which should give you a better idea of what to expect. The 3D45 is a fully enclosed design with a replaceable carbon filter which is designed to filter out fumes, so doesn't have to be hooked up to an external vent but if this is something you are concerned about, the option is there to connect one if you wish.

This product carries a full 2 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design.
Some manufacturers will offer a direct repair or replacement service (as applicable) which will often resolve your problem more quickly.
We will exchange or refund within the first 30 days if a manufacturers fault is found with this product. Thereafter a repair or exchange as appropriate will be offered.
