Einhell TE-SM 36/10 L Li 36v Cordless Sliding Compound Mitre Saw 254mm
The TE-SM 36/10 L Li is a cordless sliding mitre saw which is capable of sawing through materials up to 340mm in width. Ideal for portable use and for locations without readily accessible mains power, it is part of the Power X-Change battery system and requires two 18v Power X-Change batteries in order to drive the 36v motor (batteries with a capacity of 2.5ah or greater are recommended).
The TE-SM 36/10 L Li features dual extending material supports and is supplied with a clamp for securing the workpiece down. A laser guide line and LED worklight help to ensure that the blade is lined up quickly and easily every time, and the soft start motor ensures smooth startups every time the trigger is pulled.
The saw table can be rotated and features a number of built-in stops for the most common angles. When sawing wider workpieces, the smooth running rails enable the saw head to be pulled out and then pushed through the material, giving the TE-SM 36/10 L Li a wider cut capacity than non-sliding equivalents. In addition, the entire saw head can also be tilted up to 45° for bevelled cuts.
A dust bag is supplied with the machine and alternatively it can be connected to a hose from a vacuum cleaner or dust extractor.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
