Einhell TE-SM 36/8 L Li 36v Cordless Sliding Compound Mitre Saw 216mm
The TE-SM 36/8 L Li is a cordless sliding mitre saw which is part of the Power X-Change system. Being a 36v machine, it requires two standard 18v Power X-Change batteries: this gives it the extra power needed for more demanding cutting jobs but means it uses the same batteries and chargers as all the smaller tools in the system.
With a maximum cutting depth of 65mm at 90°, the sliding action on the TE-SM 36/8 L Li also allows it to saw through wide materials up to 305mm in a single pass. The rotating base has positive stops for the most commonly required angles and the head can be bevelled up to 45° on the left hand side. The saw incorporates a laser cutting line guide so it can be quickly and precisely set up for each new cut, and it comes with material supports and a hold down clamp for securely fastening materials in position.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
