Einhell TE-SM 36/8 L Li 36v Cordless Sliding Compound Mitre Saw 216mm
The Einhell TE-SM 36/8 L Li is a powerful cordless sliding compound mitre saw, compatible with Einhell's Power X-Change battery system. Running on 36v via Twin-Pack Technology — combining two standard 18v Power X-Change batteries — it delivers the muscle needed for demanding cutting tasks on site or in workshops without mains power.
The sliding action enables cuts across materials up to 305mm wide, whilst a maximum cutting depth of 65mm at 90° makes light work of substantial timber sections. A rotating table with positive stops, single bevel up to 45° left, and a laser line guide ensure precise, repeatable results every time.
This saw is available as a bare tool or bundled with batteries ranging from 2 x 4ah up to 4 x 6ah, paired with a twin charger — making it easy to match your existing Power X-Change setup.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
