really pleased with this. My garden in parts is very flinty so that was a problem but when I then got to areas that were less so it was just great to use, so quick and easy.

After watching Monty Don using a long-handled bulb planter I looked for one on-line & found what I think is a really good version at Tooled-Up. It's sturdily built, creates good-sized holes at a reasonable depth & certainly makes planting medium/large bulbs easier. Happy to recommend

The ground here is every gardener’s nightmare; stony, hard as concrete and very hard to dig. This long handle bulb planter is very well made, digs easily into the soil and has made the planting of over 300 bulbs so much easier. Bonus is no bending! I thoroughly recommend this product and wish I’d had it years earlier.

Q : How deep is the hole that it makes I.e. what's the deepest you can plant a bulb?
A : Hi Sandra, we don't currently have any of these in stock but I guess you can get a rough idea from the diameter of the head, which is 70 - 83mm. I would guess from looking at it that you should be able to get down to a depth of around 140mm
