Festool DTS 400 REQ-Plus Delta Sander

The Festool DTS 400 REQ-Plus is a compact delta sander designed for precise sanding in corners, along edges, and on vertical or overhead surfaces where standard sanders cannot reach.

Weighing just 1.5 kg and featuring a perfectly balanced design, this one-handed sander is built for sustained overhead work without fatigue. The MMC control electronics deliver 250 W of power directly to the sanding surface, providing up to 25% greater material removal capacity at a consistently controlled speed — variable between 6,000 and 12,000 min?¹ to suit the task.

Dust management is handled by the included long-life chip collection bag, made from extra-durable nonwoven polyester that can be emptied and reused. For connection to a mobile dust extractor, the integrated CLEANTEC bayonet fitting provides a quick, secure lock to the suction hose — and releases only when you choose to disconnect it.

The included PROTECTOR edge guard allows smooth, accurate sanding alongside window frames, panelling, and similar surfaces without damaging adjacent areas. With a 100 x 150 mm StickFix sanding pad and a 4-metre cable, it is well suited to site use across a range of applications.
