The Festool FS-EP TS/TSC55 Immersion Position Indicator is a precision accessory designed to help carpenters and joiners achieve accurate plunge cuts at any cutting depth with a Festool TS or TSC 55 plunge saw.

Hitting the exact entry and exit point of a plunge cut is one of the more demanding challenges in site joinery — particularly when working at reduced cutting depths where visual reference is limited. This position indicator removes the guesswork by displaying precisely where the saw blade will enter and exit the workpiece before the cut is made. It inserts directly into the groove of the Festool guide rail from above and locks securely in place.

Once fitted, the marking indicator scale is adjusted to match the depth setting of the plunge saw, then aligned with your pencil mark. The indicator can also be magnetically attached to the left or right of the support plate, making it ideal for cutting close to walls where the blade is partially or fully obscured. It can additionally be used as a start and end stop, helping ensure repeatable plunge cuts of consistent length — useful for electrical back box cut-outs, worktop joints, and recessed panel work.
