Festool ISC 240 18v Cordless Brushless Insulation Saw
The Festool ISC 240 18V Cordless Brushless Insulation Saw represents a genuine revolution in insulating-material saws. Whether working freehand or guided with a guide rail and stop system, on roofing, scaffolding or flooring, the ISC 240 delivers outstanding mobility, versatility and efficiency for anyone insulating housing with minimum effort.
Perfectly suited for cutting flexible insulating materials such as glass wool, rock wool and natural fibres (using the serrated saw blade cutting set), as well as PUR and polystyrene insulating boards (using the cross-set saw blade cutting set). Its cable-free operation makes it ideal for outdoor use, scaffolding, and anywhere mains power is unavailable.
Available with or without batteries and charger, both supplied with a carry case — choose the configuration that suits your existing Festool battery system.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
