The Festool KAPEX KS 60 E-SET is a 216mm sliding compound mitre saw designed for precision cutting in mobile assembly and installation applications.

Built around a philosophy of removing unnecessary weight without compromising capability, the KAPEX KS 60 weighs just 17.9 kg without accessories and features an exceptionally compact form thanks to flush-mounted guide rods. Ergonomically positioned carrying handles, a cord holder, and a transport safety device make it genuinely practical to move between sites and working positions.

Cutting performance is delivered through Festool's twin-column guide system with two bearings, ensuring smooth and reliable blade travel on every pass. The mitre angle adjusts up to 60° on both sides, while the inclination angle reaches 47° (left) or 46° (right), giving carpenters and joiners the versatility to tackle complex angled cuts in skirting boards, cornices, profiles, and timber sections up to 60 mm thick.

The included LED spotlight projects a precise cutting line onto the workpiece, and the bevel allows interior and exterior angles to be set without manual calculations – particularly useful when fitting architrave, coving, or mouldings. A cutting depth limiter enables rapid grooving, and the pull-out extension table supports longer workpieces. The dust extraction port accepts 27 mm or 36 mm connections, making it compatible with Festool mobile dust extractors for a cleaner working environment in line with COSHH good practice.
