Festool KT TKS 80 Cartridge for TKS 80 EBS SawStop 254mm Table Saw
The Festool KT TKS 80 Cartridge is a replacement safety cartridge designed exclusively for use with the Festool TKS 80 EBS SawStop 254mm table saw, providing critical protection against serious cutting injuries during sawing operations.
Workplace table saw injuries represent a significant safety concern, with around 4,000 circular saw injuries recorded annually in Germany alone — equivalent to 16 injuries every working day. The TKS 80's SawStop technology addresses this risk directly, and the cartridge is the heart of that system.
When skin contact is detected, the cartridge instantly releases a pretensioned spring, driving an aluminium block into the saw blade to halt it before a serious injury can occur. Following activation, the cartridge can be replaced quickly in just a few steps, minimising downtime on site.
This cartridge is a consumable safety component — once triggered, it must be replaced before the SawStop protection system can function again. It is compatible exclusively with the Festool TKS 80 EBS SawStop table saw.
