The Festool MFKC 700 EB 18V Cordless Module Edge Router is a battery-powered edge routing tool designed for professional carpenters, joiners, and shopfitters working with solid wood, acrylic, and PVC edge veneer.

Freed from the constraints of a power cable, this cordless edge router is ideally suited to machining workpiece edges all the way around without the risk of snagging or restricted movement. Weighing just 1.7 kg and engineered with a well-balanced centre of gravity, it handles predictably and is designed to resist tipping during use.

The tool accepts cutters up to 32 mm in diameter via the 8 mm collet, making it compatible with standard routing cutters for chamfering, rounding, profiling, grooving, and rebating operations. Routing depth can be set to 0.1 mm increments across a 14 mm cutter stroke range. The brushless EC-TEC motor delivers variable speed between 10,000 and 25,000 RPM, with adjustable RPM control to reduce scorch marks on sensitive materials.

The router table features integrated dust extraction via a 27 mm connection port, and when paired with a Bluetooth® battery pack, the vacuum activates automatically. Router tables can be swapped tool-free, providing additional versatility across different edge profiles and applications.
