Festool OF2200 EB-Plus 1/2" Plunge Router

The Festool OF2200 EB-Plus is a heavy-duty 2200W plunge router designed for professional carpenters, joiners, and skilled tradespeople who demand precision and power across demanding routing tasks.

With 2200 watts of mains-powered performance and a variable speed range of 10,000–22,000 RPM, the OF2200 delivers exceptional low-end torque suited to hard materials and increased material thicknesses. The dual guide column clamp provides enhanced torsional rigidity, while the fine depth adjustment allows routing depth to be set with accuracy to 1/10mm — critical for tight-tolerance joinery work.

Ergonomics have been carefully considered, with guide rods offset by 30 degrees to transfer force efficiently and reduce operator fatigue during extended use. The 80mm routing stroke and 89mm bench opening give the flexibility needed for a wide range of profiles and cutouts.

Ideal applications include rabbeting, grooving and profiling, routing large cutouts, circles and arcs using the MFS routing template, creating worktop corner joints, and routing seals and espagnolettes in windows and doors. Dust extraction of up to 99% during edge routing is achieved through an adjustable extraction ring and chip catcher, supporting cleaner working environments in line with good site practice.

The tool ships complete in a Systainer SYS3 M 337 case, supplied with both 1/4" and 1/2" collets, a 30mm copying ring, chip deflector, open-ended spanner, and WAF 24.
