The Festool OFKC 500 R3 18V Cordless Edge Router is a compact, battery-powered trimmer designed for precise edge routing on timber, door frames, boards, and edge veneer — without the restriction of a cable.

Weighing just 1.3 kg, the router's slim build and well-balanced centre of gravity make it stable and comfortable to handle during extended use. Depth adjustment is accurate to 1/10 mm, ensuring clean, consistent results on every pass without the need for reworking. The solid connection between cutter and drive delivers excellent run-out accuracy, which is essential when working with fine edge veneer or strip material.

The brushless EC-TEC motor runs quietly and includes thermal monitoring to protect against overheating. Variable speed control — from 10,000 to 25,000 min?¹ — allows you to match the RPM to the material, reducing the risk of scorch marks. When used alongside a Festool Bluetooth® battery pack, the dust extraction kicks in automatically, keeping the work area clean without any manual intervention.

This model is supplied with an R3 roundover cutter, making it ready to use straight from the Systainer for rounding over edges on-site or in the workshop.
