The Festool RO 125 FEQ-Plus ROTEX Geared Eccentric Sander is a 125mm mains-powered disc sander that combines coarse sanding, fine sanding, and polishing in a single compact tool.

Powered by a 500W motor, the RO 125 uses a combination of eccentric and rotary ROTEX motion to deliver a material removal rate that outperforms conventional eccentric sanders. Variable speed control allows the eccentric motion to be adjusted between 3,000 and 6,000 min?¹, while the ROTEX rotary motion ranges from 300 to 600 min?¹, giving precise control over the finish quality across different applications.

Designed with ergonomics in mind, the RO 125 features a compact, lightweight housing at just 2.3 kg and soft-grip surfaces for comfortable use over extended periods — including on vertical surfaces. The FastFix tool-less pad system makes swapping the 125mm sanding pad quick and straightforward, while the built-in Protector allows sanding right up to edges and borders.

Dust extraction is handled via Festool's Jetstream principle through a 27mm connection, making the tool compatible with appropriate mobile dust extractors for cleaner, healthier working conditions. The RO 125 is suited to tasks including stripping old paint and varnish, sanding wooden materials and repair compound, renovation work such as sanding steps, and hologram-free polishing.
