The Festool Rotex RO 90 DX FEQ Plus is a compact geared eccentric sander that combines four functions in a single, lightweight tool — coarse sanding, fine sanding, delta sanding, and polishing — making it a versatile choice for carpenters, joiners, decorators, and bodywork professionals.

The ROTEX principle delivers two distinct motion types: rotary motion for efficient material removal and polishing, and eccentric motion for producing high-quality, scratch-free surfaces. At under 1.5 kg, it's well suited to vertical surfaces and overhead work without causing undue fatigue. The 4-metre cable provides useful reach on site.

What sets this sander apart is the FastFix interface, which allows tool-less pad changes. Swapping the round 90mm pad for the included triangular StickFix pad V93 converts the machine into a delta sander — ideal for working into corners, angles, and tight spaces such as window frames, louvre sanding, and feather-and-groove joints. The Protector accessory allows sanding right up to edges and borders. The tool is supplied in a Systainer SYS3 M 187 for organised storage and transport.
