The Festool SC38-90 I-39E is a specialist chainsaw chain designed for cutting insulating materials, compatible with the Festool Sword Saw UNIVERS SSU200.
Engineered specifically for insulation work, this chain handles a broad range of materials including PUR (polyurethane hard foam), polystyrene boards, hard rock wool, and glass wool up to 200mm thick. It is also capable of cutting pressure-resistant fibreboards and insulating materials with a bulk density of up to 150 kg/m³.
The chain is well suited to applications in flat roof insulation, facade insulation, and roof renovation projects, making it a practical choice for roofing contractors and insulation specialists working with modern board materials.
