Festool SP-TS 55/5 Splinter Guard
The Festool SP-TS 55/5 Splinter Guard is a specialist saw accessory designed to eliminate splintering on the right-hand side of the blade during circular saw cuts.
Fitted in place of the viewing window on compatible Festool TS 55 saws, the splinter guard works by allowing the running saw blade to cut directly through the guard itself on first use. This self-trimming process ensures a precise fit to the exact profile of the blade, producing clean, splinter-free results on every subsequent cut.
The guard is height-adjustable, making it equally effective whether you are cutting with or without a guide rail. A clear blade-edge marking at maximum saw depth helps with accurate positioning before cutting begins.
