I've had plastic and metal multi function hose guns from Gardena, Hozelock and own brand DIY stores. They all eventually fail. My most user friendly were the old gardena metal and BandQ metal ones. Even they wear out. They had great fine mist and hard jets and a nice general spray. This one has only 3 options but the gentle jet seems really good for aiming at tender plants. The triple jet dislodged things nicely. The broad spray seems as good as any. Will have to wait till summer to see if it works for seedlings. Ergonomically quite big but very comfy to hold and use.

Having used most hose fittings on the general market I now always buy Gardena products. This sprayer performs excellently with 3 good, adjustable spray choices and no dripping or leakage. Gardena products maybe a little more of an investment but those that I have used do not drip or leak all over me as I use them and they last.
