Having previously purchased one of these several years ago and still functioning satisfactorily I found a use for another one, albeit of a longer length. I knew they were of a better quality and others seem to agree judging by other reviews. A pity they couldn't be a quality British make instead of another foreign brand.

I have today mounted the hose on to my wall. Having read the instructions I found fixing it was much easier than I was anticipating from the leaflet. I rolls up very easily but takes a lot of effort to unwind it because the recoil mechanism is so strong.

Been looking around at a few of these Automatic hose reel, the Grenada seemed to have the best reviews, a little pricey but you pay for what you get, very happy with it, and Tooled-up were even better priced than Amazon.. Well done Tooled-up, will be shopping again with yourself??

Q : Hello, what are the dimensions of the hose reel including the bracket once installed, i.e. how far does it stick out from the wall?
A : Hi there, unfortunately these are supplied boxed so it's a bit difficult to measure them but the box is about 65cm wide so I'm guessing this is more or less the size of the reel itself and you'd probably want to allow a bit more room for the bracket once installed to be on the safe side

Q : Can you use this hosepipe with a jet washer please
A : Hi Carol, you would want to check the user manual for the machine in mind to see if there were any specific requirements for the supply hose. Unfortunately as this is a brand new hose reel which we haven't had come into stock yet we're still awaiting some details, but it looks like it comes fitted with a Gardena Classic hose of the type we stock on product ID 21008927
Q : How long is the supply pipe from the tap to the reel and can this be extended if necessary? Ideally I'd prefer to fit a longer piece hose to the reel than use a coupling. Thanks
A : Hi James, unfortunately Gardena haven't provided any specifications on this and this reel is a brand new product which we've not had in stock yet so are still to take a look at one. However from the description provided it seems like it should just be a separate length of standard hose and a connector set, and I imagine that you would be able to easily replace this with a hose of your choosing if required.
