Instructions could be easier to read but overall the product is outstanding it does exactly what it says. we bought 2 as my business partner is left handed and we did not want to keep changing hands when sharing. simple and to use.

Chainsaw fitted well, action smooth. I cut a lot of logs for my wood burning stove and this is making the task very easy.

Basically easy to use and does take the strain out of sawing logs. However there are a couple of points to watch carefully as you are using it: 1) i have a heavy stihl chainsaw. The grip mechanism to hold its chain bar to the saw horse is very difficult to tighten sufficiently to stop the weight of the chainsaw itself causing its bar to swivel in the grip mechanism, bringing the top of the chain too close to the bar guard on the saw horse. 2) the clip holding the combined chainsaw and swivel mechanism to the main structure either broke or somehow managed to come out (& yes, i did make doubly certain when putting the sawbench together that this vital clip was fully in place). Where the clip, or two halves of it went, i have no idea. the result could have been extremely dangerous as the chainsaw and grip mechanism came out of the tube, dropped down & bit into the log length guide, bending it slightly & holing it with two chain teeth. Fortunately i was holding the chainsaw at the time so was able to release the trigger instantly. Whether it was me releasing it quickly or the automatic safety release on the chainsaw itself which stopped the saw first i don't know. i did already happen to have a new clip of the right size (same size as i use on my garden cultivator) to replace that which disappeared. these two points should be looked at and addressed by the manufacturers. because it is a chainsaw you are using, it must be treated with just as much respect as when using it off the saw horse. Provided you do so when using the sawbench with chainsaw attached, it is very easy to use with little effort & the results you get are excellent.

Need a degree in engineering to assemble.Would be better if nuts/bolts were colour coded.
