Hex Head Self Drilling Screws for Light Section Steel
Hex head self drilling screws designed specifically for joining roofing sheets to light gauge steel, eliminating the need to pre-drill a hole and significantly speeding up installation on site. The classic drill point bites cleanly into metal without slipping or wandering, making them a reliable choice for roofing and cladding applications across commercial and industrial projects.
Zinc plated for corrosion resistance, each screw features a hex head with an integral washer that spreads the clamping load and creates a more secure, weathertight fixing. The coarse thread provides strong pull-through resistance in light section steel.
Available in diameters of 4.2mm, 4.8mm, and 5.5mm with lengths ranging from 13mm to 45mm, supplied in trade packs of 500 or 1,000 screws depending on size.
