Hex Head Slash Point Timber Screws
Hex Head Slash Point Timber Screws are purpose-built for attaching sheet metal (up to 0.8mm thick) to timber substrates, making them an ideal choice for roofing, cladding, and general structural fixing applications. Each screw features a single slash point design that reduces torque during installation and minimises the risk of timber splitting, even at low edge distances — a critical advantage when working close to the edge of a substrate.
The screws are fitted with an EPDM washer that creates an effective seal once installed, preventing water ingress and helping to protect the fixing long-term. An exterior plating finish delivers a reliable and durable corrosion resistant coating, proven to withstand over 500 hours of salt-spray testing — making these screws well suited to exposed exterior environments.
Available in a 6.3mm diameter across lengths ranging from 32mm to 150mm, with pack quantities to suit various project scales.
