Hex Head Slash Point Timber Screws
This 6.3mm x 45mm Hex Head Slash Point Timber Screw is supplied in a pack of 100, making it a great bulk value option for projects requiring a shorter fixing length. Designed to attach sheet metal up to 0.8mm thick to timber, the 45mm length is ideal where thinner material stacks or tighter clearances are a consideration.
The slash point tip reduces torque on installation and minimises the risk of timber splitting at low edge distances, enabling faster and more controlled fixing. The EPDM washer, once the screw is fully tightened, forms an effective seal that prevents water from penetrating the fixing point.
The exterior plating delivers a durable corrosion resistant coating, proven to withstand over 500 hours of salt-spray testing — giving you confidence in long-term performance in challenging outdoor conditions.
