My main criticism is the design of the battery compartment which doesn't accept all 9v batteries. I tried ing one i got from maplin and it was a struggle trying to fit into the holder. Unfortunately, because it was such a tight fit, the end cap refused to go in. To remove the battery i resorted having to use a pair of pliers, which i don't recommend because of the acid in the batteries. The energizer battery i bought fits perfectly, and i've had no problems, but you would think they could have standardized the size of these batteries.

Great tool. the digital display takes all the guess work out of the equation. has some excellent features that come in handy.

Excellent at the price, this level is a bit of a luxury item as it could never take the on-site battering that my other levels can. Build quality is not great, as the end battery insert is quite loose and easily falls out if care is not taken. The digital operation is easy to use and works perfectly.

Excellent value for money, easy to read, same no battery was included in package, as i don't have many 9v batteries in the draw :-) but great product never the less.

Excellent spirit level, checked it against a calibrated very expensive model and was surprised at the accuracy.
