Karcher WD 3-18 18v Cordless Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner
The Karcher WD 3-18 is an 18v cordless wet and dry vacuum cleaner offering versatile cleaning capability for tradespeople working across multiple locations. Part of the Karcher 18V Battery Power system, this portable vacuum features a generous 17-litre tank capacity and an integrated blower function for debris removal.
Battery power delivers genuine site flexibility, enabling you to move seamlessly from workshop dust extraction to vehicle cleaning, patio maintenance and general site tidying without trailing cables. The wet and dry capability handles both liquid spillages and dry materials such as sawdust, plaster dust or general debris, whilst the blower function dislodges leaves, grass clippings or DIY waste from awkward areas.
The single-part cartridge filter eliminates the need to swap filters when switching between wet and dry suction, saving valuable time on site. Practical design features include integrated accessory storage within the housing, convenient hose storage and a flat top surface that provides temporary tool storage whilst you work. The Push & Pull locking system ensures quick tank access for emptying.
This bare tool unit is supplied without battery or charger but shares full compatibility with all cordless tools on the Karcher 18V Battery Power platform, making it an efficient addition to existing Karcher battery setups. Runtimes of approximately 10 minutes with a 2.5Ah battery or 20 minutes with a 5.0Ah battery suit short cleaning tasks and regular site maintenance.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Important Information about Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaners
The tank capacity quoted is usually quoted for dry vacuuming. Capacity when being used for wet vacuuming will be significantly less than when dry vacuuming. Always read both the wet and dry capacities separately if they are published so as to understand what the difference is.
If in doubt you will always need a larger capacity vacuum than the capacity shown in the title as this will be quoted for dry vacuuming only.
The reason for this reduced capacity is that the water level has to be kept well below the motor and thus the capacity is reduced.
