Kew Gardens Stainless Steel Transplanting Trowel
The Kew Gardens Stainless Steel Transplanting Trowel is a premium hand tool designed for precision planting work in professional and domestic gardens. Developed through collaboration between Spear & Jackson and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, this trowel combines expert horticultural knowledge with traditional British manufacturing craftsmanship.
The mirror-polished stainless steel head offers excellent corrosion resistance and slips easily through soil, making light work of transplanting tasks. The narrow blade design is particularly suited to working in confined spaces between established plants, whilst blade depth markings provide helpful guidance for bulb planting at the correct depths.
Built for durability, the trowel features an FSC certified ash wood handle that has been weather-proofed to withstand outdoor conditions. The longer tang construction provides improved leverage and reduces hand fatigue during extended use. A practical leather wrist strap allows convenient storage when not in use, ensuring the tool remains close to hand throughout the working day.
