The Knipex 95 31 VDE Insulated Ratchet Action Cable Cutter is a professional-grade tool designed for cutting copper and aluminium single conductors as well as multiple stranded cables. Not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes and fine-stranded (highly flexible) conductors. Featuring precision-ground, hardened blades, these cutters deliver clean and smooth cuts without crushing or deformation, ensuring professional results every time.

The innovative ratchet principle allows for effortless one-hand operation, requiring minimal hand force thanks to the very high transmission ratio. The two-stage ratchet drive makes cutting through thick cables remarkably easy, whilst the compact, lightweight design enables use even in confined areas. A built-in pinch guard prevents operators' fingers being pinched during use, and the fixed handle includes a support area for safely putting down the pliers when cutting. Available in two sizes to suit different cutting capacities, from 240mm² to 380mm² copper cable.
