Makita DCG180 18v LXT Cordless Caulking Gun
The Makita DCG180 is a high-efficiency cordless caulking gun powered by the robust 18V LXT Lithium-Ion battery system. Designed for professional tradespeople, this compact and lightweight tool delivers exceptional versatility, being compatible with 300ml cartridges, 600ml sausage packs, and bulk sealant applications.
Built with precision engineering, the DCG180 offers superior control and convenience on every job. The variable speed trigger and control dial allow you to match the flow rate precisely to your application, whilst the anti-drip function ensures clean, professional finishes without wastage. An integrated LED job light illuminates your work area for accurate bead placement in poorly lit conditions.
The 360-degree rotating sealant holder provides excellent access to awkward angles, and the trigger lock prevents accidental discharge during transportation. A particularly innovative feature is the plunger rod which doubles as a suction plunger, enabling you to pump bulk sealant directly into the 600ml holder from larger containers. Available with or without battery and charger.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
