Makita DHS680 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Circular Saw 165mm
The Makita DHS680 18v Cordless LXT Brushless Circular Saw delivers professional-grade cutting performance with a 165mm blade capacity. The brushless motor minimises friction to the internal mechanism for more efficient battery power utilisation and a longer service life. Available as a bare unit or in complete kits with batteries, charger and storage case.
With automatic speed control, this model automatically adapts the cutting speed to the load condition for optimised sawing performance. The LED indicator panel shows battery power remaining, state of automatic speed control and confirmation of overload protection activation. The twin LED work light illuminates the workpiece from multiple angles for enhanced visibility of the cutting line, whilst the magnesium die-cast base plate, blade case and safety cover reduces the weight of the tool for improved portability and handling.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
