Makita DSS501 18v LXT Cordless Circular Saw 136mm
This bare tool configuration of the DSS501 is ideal for tradespeople who already own Makita 18V LXT batteries and chargers, allowing you to expand your cordless toolkit without duplicating accessories. You receive the essential cutting package including the saw body, hex wrench, rip fence for accurate straight cuts, dust bag for debris collection, and a TCT saw blade ready for immediate use.
The 136mm blade delivers a maximum cutting depth of 51mm at 90° and 35mm at 45°, making it suitable for a wide range of timber cutting applications. Operating at 3600 RPM with low vibration levels (2.5 m/sec²), this lightweight 2.6kg saw provides excellent control and comfort during prolonged use. The 20mm bore diameter accepts standard circular saw blades for versatile material cutting.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
