The Makita DTW450 is a powerful yet compact cordless impact wrench, delivering professional-grade performance with an impressive 440Nm maximum torque. Part of Makita's renowned 18V LXT system, this tool is designed for demanding fastening applications whilst remaining remarkably lightweight and manoeuvrable.
Powered by advanced Lithium-ion battery technology, the DTW450 offers significantly extended run time compared to older Ni-MH or Ni-Cad batteries, with 430% greater capacity and a 40% weight saving. The tool features rubber joint construction to minimise battery failure and shock-absorbing battery housing for enhanced durability.
Available in configurations from body-only through to complete kits with batteries, charger and storage case.

Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
