The Makita LD050P is a compact laser distance measure designed for indoor measuring applications across a range of professional trade tasks. This 50-metre range device combines robust construction with straightforward operation, making it ideal for carpenters, electricians, and contractors who need fast, reliable measurements on site.

Powered by two standard AAA batteries that deliver up to 3,000 measurements before replacement, the LD050P features dedicated shortcut keys for addition, subtraction, area, and volume calculations. This eliminates the need for manual calculations and speeds up job estimating. The onboard memory stores your five most recent measurements for easy reference, whilst the tracking function enables continuous measurement updates as you move the device.

The laser measure includes Pythagoras functions for both 2-point and 3-point indirect measurements, particularly useful when measuring inaccessible heights or distances. Its IP54 rating provides protection against dust and water splashes, essential for typical building site conditions. Certified to ISO 16331-1 standard, the device automatically switches off the laser after 90 seconds and powers down completely after 180 seconds to conserve battery life.
