Makita UX01G 40v Max XGT Cordless Brushless Split Shaft Garden Multi Tool Kit
The Makita UX01G Brushless Split Shaft Garden Multi Tool is a cordless multi-function power head powered by 40v Max XGT Li-ion battery. The new XGT revolutionary technology ensures that battery and the tools' motor technology work together for optimum performance. The system features Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tools if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. The tool delivers top comfort throughout thanks to the variable speed control feature.
The Makita EM406MP line trimmer attachment has a steel drive shaft for less vibration and a longer equipment life. It also features a bump and feed trimmer head for efficient grass cutting.
The adaptable attachments are easily fitted with a tool-less slide joint coupling with a simple clip-lock fixing the attachment securely in place.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
