Multi-Sharp Drill Bit Sharpener

I have been searching for a no nonsense drill bit sharpener & this does exactly what it is designed for. Set up was easy although i did build a jig for the power drill to sit in. It also pays to have a variable speed drill. All in all an excellent product at a great price.

This is a great piece of kit , this will save you so much money , not having to go out and keep buying drill bits, i managed to completely bring back to like dead drill bits , easy to use , can't believe how good it really works .

The sharpener paid for itself the first time i used it. I needed to drill a dozen holes through 3mm steel. I sharpened half a dozen bits and re-sharpened them afterwards. Replacing them with decent quality ones would have cost more. I have many old british high speed steel bits which are much harder than anything you can buy today. It should bring them back to life.

For us old school artisans, this is a great piece of kit. it needs a good old fashioned mains powered drill, and it means you don't just throw bits away each time you use them (as the youngsters seem to do!!!) and it's a bit of fun setting up and using.

Desperately in need of good clear instruction manual (not all crammed onto a single A4 sheet) + a professionally produced video available on the net. I get the impression design for minimum cost has over ruled quality.

It is a bit flimsy, especially the drill set up part. The hss grind stone has already almost worn away and i've only sharpened 6 or 7 drills. It is very soft. The unit does seem to work but i'm not that impressed. We'll see as time goes on.

This item basically has a good design but it's built using flexible plastic and grinding wheels that wear too quickly. If it were made of metal and the grinding wheels lasted longer then it would work. Until then you're probably better buying an ordinary grinding wheel.
