Plastikote Plastic Aerosol Primer
The Plastikote Plastic Aerosol Primer is a specialist primer designed to enhance paint adhesion on rigid plastic surfaces. Part of the PlastiKote Twist & Spray range, this clear primer provides an essential base coat for renewing and decorating common household plastics, ensuring superior bonding of any PlastiKote topcoat applied afterwards.
Ideal for both interior and exterior applications, this plastic primer excels on rigid plastic items including patio furniture, plant pots, and storage boxes. The 400ml aerosol format delivers convenient, even coverage of approximately 2.23m² per can, though actual coverage may vary depending on application technique.
The primer offers practical drying times for efficient project completion. Allow 5-10 minutes between coats when building up coverage, with topcoat application possible after just 1 hour. For optimal adhesion and durability, leaving the primer to thoroughly dry overnight before applying your chosen finish coat is recommended.
Please note this product is specifically formulated for rigid plastic surfaces and is not suitable for soft plastics. Always ensure surfaces are clean and properly prepared before application for best results.
