The Priory 604AL is a lightweight aluminium reversible ratchet scaffold podger spanner designed specifically for scaffolding work where weight reduction is critical. Manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminium, this scaffold spanner weighs just 140g (5oz) – approximately half the weight of an equivalent steel podger – making it ideal for working at height where carrying heavy tools can cause fatigue and reduce efficiency.

The short bent design features a flush box configuration that allows use in restricted spaces where standard spanners cannot reach. A convenient flick switch enables quick reversal of the ratchet head direction without removing the tool from the fixing. The reversible box-type socket provides dual sizing: 19mm on one side for aluminium beam bolts and 21mm (7/16 W) on the other, covering the most common scaffold fittings.
