For years i have been using a record 6inch vise, and there have been times when i could have done with a larger jaw opening.Knowing that record products are built to last, from previous experience. I decided to purchase a larger model. It is a very well made vice and was easy to fit to my workbench. The screw is silky smooth and the whole vise is a pleasure to use.The front dog has proved to be very handy on more than one ocasion. My only regret is that i did not purchase it earlier. Well done again record, a well made british product that does exactly what it is meant to do.
