Record Quick Release Plain Screw Woodworking Vice
The Record Quick Release Plain Screw Woodworking Vice is an essential tool for any engineering workshop or woodworking environment, designed for clamping and holding wood work pieces with exceptional efficiency. Fitted with an intuitive quick-release mechanism, simply squeeze the trigger to open and close the vice without using the mainscrew, allowing large and small work pieces to be quickly interchanged. Releasing the trigger returns the mechanism to normal operation for fine adjustment.
The adjustable front stop or dog provides an additional cramping facility when used in conjunction with a bench stop, effectively combining a normal vice and tail vice in one versatile tool. Two steel guide rods reduce wear and ensure smooth parallel action, while the jaws 'toe in' so that when pressure is applied they give even clamping over the whole depth of the work piece. Location holes are provided so you can fit your own choice of wooden cheeks to protect the work piece. Available in a range of jaw widths to suit different applications.
