The Roughneck Fibreglass Handle Trenching Tamper is a contractor-grade earth rammer designed for compacting soil, gravel and other materials in trenches and confined spaces. Built for professional groundwork applications, this tamper combines the durability of a reinforced cast iron head with the lightweight handling benefits of a fibreglass shaft.

The perfectly flat 100 x 250mm tamping face delivers even compaction pressure across a generous working area, making it ideal for compacting trench backfill, around posts and foundations, or in narrow excavations. The 2.6kg head weight provides sufficient mass for effective compaction whilst remaining manageable during extended use, reducing operator fatigue on larger projects.
