Roughneck Square Mouth Shovel

The Roughneck Square Mouth Shovel is a contractor-grade digging and materials-handling tool built for demanding site work and general groundworks tasks.

Constructed from fully hardened pressed steel, the blade delivers reliable strength without excessive weight. Blade treads allow the user to apply greater downward force with reduced risk of foot slippage — a practical benefit during prolonged digging or trenching.

The Power Ring socket with its steel-reinforced plug creates a robust blade-to-handle connection, minimising flex and reducing the risk of joint failure under load. A fibreglass shaft keeps the overall weight low, while the double-injected YD grip handle provides a secure, comfortable hold during extended use.

Suitable for a wide range of on-site applications, this square mouth shovel is ideal for moving sand, gravel, cement, and earth, as well as shovelling out and backfilling trenches on construction and landscaping projects.
